Zion Mennonite Church offers a variety of activities for children with the goal of partnering with their families in nurturing them to know, love, and follow Jesus. This is a wonderful privilege and a significant responsibility as we pass our faith on to the next generation. We are committed to creating ministry settings that will be a safe haven for all children filled with lots of love and acceptance.

Our Vision

  • To introduce children to Jesus so that they can know Him
  • To provide an atmosphere for them to grow in Him
  • To build relationships to disciple each child

Sunday School

Sunday School includes classes for children of all ages. Sunday School is from 8:45-9:45 a.m. every Sunday morning. Teachers for each class lead children in the discovery of biblical truths and the application of those truths to their lives in interesting, fun, and thoughtful ways.

Children’s Church and Junior Church

Children’s Church (2 years old-pre-K) and Junior Church (K-4th grade) meet during the worship service every Sunday. The children spend time learning and growing in their relationships with God through Bible study, stories, crafts, sharing and praying together.

Nursery Care

Childcare is provided for infants up to two years during the worship service (10:00 am).
