Winter Youth Retreat (February 2016)

The youth at Zion come from a variety of high schools, but we have one thing that draws us together—a common love for Jesus. It is our goal to grow in faith in Jesus, to support each other to live for Jesus in our daily lives, and to have opportunity for ministry. In all that we do, we want to bring praise to Jesus.

Activities

We typically meet two Sundays per month along with additional special events scheduled such as worship nights, concerts, service opportunities, or social and fun events.

We attend the annual ACC Fall Retreat and have our own Winter Retreat in a cabin in the woods.

Bible Quizzing

Our youth are active in the ACC Bible Quizzing ministry from January through March. This includes carefully studying a particular book of the Bible and then having exciting, intense quizzing competitions with teams from other churches on a Sunday evening.

Age Range

Senior Youth is for 9th-12th graders, beginning with the fall of 9th grade.
